In May 2006, after the Beijing Special Equipment Testing Center proposed the traceability requirements of the elevator speed limiter tester to the Beijing Metrology Institute, the team led by Yu Baoliang cooperated with Beijing Lantian Yuyou Technology Co., Ltd. to start the lift limit. Research on Calibrator and Calibration Method for Speed ​​Tester. After more than one year of research, a calibration device for the elevator governor tester was developed, and the calibration method and uncertainty evaluation were completed. Then, Beijing Metrology Institute began to carry out calibration services for the elevator overspeed governor tester. After summarizing the experience of elevator overspeed tester calibration service for over one year, in 2009, the Beijing Metrology Institute submitted an application for the “Calibration Specification for Elevator Overspeed Tester” to the national vibration impact velocity measurement technical committee.
